Family Recipes |
 | Margie's coffeecake Posted by Kathy Palmeri
All of our lives growing up in the Arguelles home on Arizona Avenue, Mom would make these coffee cakes for the holidays. We knew them as Margie’s’ Coffee Cakes because Mom said she got the recipe from Aunt Margie, my Dad’s sister, who died shortly after I was born.
Today, as I make these each holiday for my family, I relive wonderful memories of my childhood, and know that my kids and grandkids, who are hooked on them too, will pass on this piece of our family history. |
